Description of ALDL Scan

ALDL Scan is an app for viewing ALDL data from 1995 and older GM vehicles.
It can be used to view
Analog parameters, Malfunction codes, or resetting the vehicle's ECM.
ALDL Scan also provides for the recording of ALDL data to the user's Android device.
ALDL Scan must be used in conjunction with the Bluetooth car adapter from 1320 Electronics.
ALDL Scan is not compatible with other Bluetooth car adapters.

  Worked for 6 uses then a pop-up window that" line 7 can't be read". So I uninstalled/reinstall only to have same result? Went into app and deleted files and cache, then uninstall/reinstall. Same thing "line 7 unreadable" Emailed developer, at least 5 days ago never responded. If it works , great information to help tune. I'm just up against a wall with app continuous loop. Ok just heard from John Wales not receiving email, checked my sent email from this google play store the "r" was dropped. So I will recontact. So I reinstalled app and its working remembering previous settings? For whatever reason app is not uninstalling which is probably android8 on my phone.

  waiting on a definition file i misplaced but i had the file years ago with a custom bluetooth scanner and can honestly say i couldnt be more please with the app as it made it extremely easy to understand and monitor the systems

  I bought a 1320 unit from John in 2016 and sent it in for repair in late March of 2018. John fixed it and returned without charge, not even shipping charge. Excellent customer service, super nice guy, highly recommend.

  Working perfectly after pairing with Bluetooth adapter. I downloaded .CSV file to desktop and now have isolated my poor performance issue. Looking forward to comparing future .CSV files to the original one.

  Every once in a while, a product or app comes along and restores ones faith in humanity LOL... But really, if you own an ALDL era vehicle(Buick V6 turbo for instance) this IS the app to have - Monitor your engines vitals(logs too!), Do your own diagnostics, monitors the critical parameters directly from the ECM along with ability for use as a custom 'dash/gauge set' or use for a bit of tuning! Truly a well thought-out and logically executed bit of software that really deserves to have a pricetag on it yet is FREE! Mad props to the developer(s) for phenomenal support of this product as well-my ONLY regret is I didn't discover it sooner.
