  Another app that doesn't deduct the ridge thickness out of the rafter length. It also doesn't get the height right for the ridge as depending on ridge thickness u need to come down maybe 25mm for say a 45mm ridge (45° pitch roof) to get a true measurement. The rafter length has to be shorter if the flat part of the ridge isn't quite at the peak. The app takes the measurement to the very peak of the roof. Ok for back to back rafters with no ridge or to find overall height of roof.

  Great. It would be nice if you could keep the rafter size for re use. If you could make the display font size bigger. Use a comma as a thousand deliminator when using mm. Flash the screen to show the calculation has been done. Thanks.

  Not enough information, the idea of a rafter is to calculate the birdmouth not ask you for before calculations to work it out.
