Ok, this is awesome. Alexa... nvm Well, this game really is outstanding. The gameplay itself is praiseworthy, but the other aspects of this game make it so much better. They could've stop at making it simply a PvP game, but not, it's so much more. You have a solo "campaign" where you explore a gigantic map(if we had the option to zoom out would be awesome), that can wield many trasures; and the "bosses" scatteres around that map might seem trivially easy to beat, but wait until you join a Clan to be able to resurrect them... You'll understand once you get there. You have your own little "kingdom" and I love it. I love the fact that you can find miners and put them to work. I love the fact that you can gain Emeralds without having to pay. Sure, it's a little grindy(maybe "little" is a bit of an euphemism, cuz' this game is very grindy at its core, but it's fair and entertaining). My only gripe would be the fact that your cards' effects need a little clarification(there's no mention of the fact that you can't activate a cards' effect twice in a row, and without such an explanation, it could take a while to understand why it didn't work. Many could think of a bug or who-knows-what, and it could be detrimental for the player experience and your game's reputation). Another thing is the fact that the "Search Clan" funcion is bugged, and that maybe the Emerald fee is a bit too restrictive. Joining a clan is so important for improving your situation, and having to spend Emeralds to create one can be discouraging, thus preventing people to get the full Rhombus experience. Especially for new players. I was lucky someone from a very good clan told me his clan's name and I was able to join them(the search by name works, it's the random clan search that doesn't work). Maybe a little tutorial for Dungeons would be great. I think I now get how it works, but it took a while. Also, a tutorial or a better explanation on how Sacrifices work, would be great. All in all, this is a GREAT game, and if you'll have the patience, you'll be able to make your way to the top. It's not very straightforward in some of its mechanics, so you'll have to pay close attention to what happens, but at least the tutorial is very easy and clear, so that's a start :) Know that even though by spending money you can get strong very fast, it's also true that by being a f2p player you can get the full experience. You just have to wait a little longer and not be wasteful. Plan ahead, be smart, and you'll be at the very top without even noticing. I bought the starter pack to support the developers, and to compliment them on such an amazing work. I didn't have to, but after a couple days of playing I realized what a gem I found :) Also, it's less that 1€. Many games have those ludicrously expansive starter packs or what-have-you, but this was such an honest pricing. Devs, keep it up! And good job with the Steam cross-play. P.S.: I'd love to be able to have some customization for my avatar. You know, different coloured borders, being able to change the image. Maybe you unlock avatars as you climb the rankings and unlock new cards. Good job, <3 from Italy!
