Light Painting Camera turns your Android camera into a magic painting shutter device. This app combines multiple images into one "long exposure" image. Various additional modes such as darken, add (e.g. for dark environments), screen, and more modes are included for greater creativity.
Note: although all processing is hardware accelerated a dual core or better device is highly recommended for smooth operation.

Image size comes as 0.5 mp. Why doesnt the app use at least even half the resolution?

This app shows much potential. I'd love to see controls to adjust ISO (exposure) and have a continuous fade on the image. Add an option to remove the live thumbnail and control icons. Add live recording. Then you would have an incredible app!
