Chrome battery status is designed to work with a Chrome desktop extension (plugin for chrome desktop) also called "Chrome Battery Status" available from the Chrome Web Store

to display an indicator showing the current battery level of all your devices from within your desktop browser.
You can also set-up automatic desktop notifications when the battery drops below a pre-defined level.
