There are many good voice recording apps available in the market however when a friend told me that she was having trouble finding an app that fulfilled her needs I decided to create this App. When I asked her what her requirements were she said that she just needed a "simple sound recorder" where she could record lectures (up to 1.5 hrs long) and then drag them off the phone via a USB cable...and make it pink!
I expanded on this and added the ability to create folders to keep the recordings organised and also included a Practice Mode, which was inspired by a nice App called Speech Trainer. In practice mode the recordings are replayed as soon as the recording is stopped and are deleted when the App is closed. I added the ability to save the last practice recording. This practice mode was really for myself as I find it useful for learning scripts and practicing dialects or pronunciations.
I also added the ability to create a script for each folder that is displayed during recording; like a crude teleprompter. This script is stored as a plain text file in the folder (with filename script.txt) and is editable from the App or can be created/edited with you favorite text editor and placed in the folder.
By default the files are stored in a folder called SSound on the external storage (sdcard) of the phone but this is configurable, along with bitrate and file type, via the Settings.
I hope you find this App useful. It is provided for you free of charge and also free of advertisements. On the About section of the App I have included the ability for you to make a donation (and if you like the App I hope you will) via in-app purchasing so the App requires in-app billing rights. You will NOT be bothered by advertisements or pop-ups or reminders or any of that annoying stuff. I will not prompt you to donate however I provide that as an option.
