As you visit Untyeyetwelye (Anzac Hill) take the opportunity to hear the voices of Australians telling their stories of World War 1.
Many military personnel were initially driven by a sense of duty and adventure; in time, however the realities of conflict set in for the those who went to war, as well as for their families and the nation.
The stories in the app include the voices of World War 1 personnel, reflecting in later life on their experiences of the war, family members of people who served and narrated war letters and war diaries.
These stories are intended to offer an opportunity for contemplation and reflection on the war - and insight into the personal experiences of those who served.
