يشترط عند القيام بأي عبادة من العبادات أن يكون المسلم على طهارة، والطهارة تعني زوال حدث أو خبث، أو رفع الحدث و إزالة النّجس، أو ما في معناهما أو على شاكلتهما. و قال المالكيّة في تعريفها أنّها صفة حكميّة توجب للموصوف بها جواز استباحة الصّلاة به، أو فيه، أو له. و سنذكر في هذا التطبيق كيفيّة أداءالطهارة والصلاة بأنواعها بشكل صحيح.

كيفية الطهارة الصحيحة تقسم الطهارة إلى قسمين: طهارة من الحدث، و طهارة من النّجاسة، و الأخيرة على نوعين أيضاً، حكمية و حقيقيّة. الطهارة من الحدث يعرف الحدث بأنّه: الحالة النّاقضة للطهارة شرعاً، بمعنى أنّ الحدث إذا صادف الطهارة نقضها، وي نقسم الحدث إلى قسمين: الحدث الأكبر: و يشمل كلاً من الجنابة، و النّفاس، و الحيض. أمّا كيفيّة الطهارة من الحدث الأكبر فإنّها تقوم على أساس الغسل، و هو: أن ينوي المسلم الغسل بقلبه دون أن ينطق بالنّية. أن يسمّي فيقول:" بسم الله ". أن يتوضّأ وضوءاً كاملاً. أن يحثو الماء على رأسه، فإذا أرواه أفاض عليه ثلاث مرّات. أن يغسل سائر بدنه. و أمّا الطهارة من الحيض فتجب عندما ترى المرأة واحدةً من علامات الطهر، و هما: رؤية القصّة البيضاء أو جفاف المحل من الدم، وي كون الغسل من الحيض مثل الغسل من الجنابة، و صفة الغسل هي ما رواه الشّيخان عن عائشة رضي الله عنها قالت:" كان رسول الله - صلّى الله عليه وسلّم - إذا اغتسل من الجنابة يبدأ فيغسل يديه، ثمّ يفرغ بيمينه على شماله فيغسل فرجه، ثمّ يتوضّأ، ثمّ يأخذ الماء فيدخل أصابعه في أصول شعره، ثمّ حفن على رأسه ثلاث حفنات، ثمّ أفاض على سائر جسده، ثمّ غسل رجليه ". الحدث الأصغر: مثل البول، والغائط، والرّيح، والمذي، والوذي، وخروج المني بغير لذّة، والهادي: وهو الماء الذي يخرج من فرج المرأة عند الولادة.
