When the game opens, the red block will be enclosed by a frame and some orange blocks. Click and drag any of the tiles to move it to an adjacent empty space in horizontal or vertical direction. Continue the process until the red block is moved out of the frame, and a score will be awarded based on the amount of time you have spent as shown at the top left corner.
