Under unclear circumstances, somewhere near Moscow there was a nuclear explosion. In the very first hours, millions of people died from radiation and the blast wave, and communication with the rest of the world was cut off.
Only those who managed to hide in basements or at metro stations managed to survive. A few years later, the radiation level fell slightly and the first daredevils began to get to the surface, but there they were not welcomed with a pleasant surprise.
