The increased resolution leads to much better looking textures as there are an increased space for beautiful details. The textures look very smooth and look much better when they come together.
It is faithful to the original look of Minecraft but the resolution is higher (32x32 or 64x64 instead of 16x16). This texture pack has already existed for a long time for Java Edition but today you can download it.
