Smartphone applications have been widely used by healthcare providers. Clinically, five-time sit-to-stand (FTSTS) and timed up and go (TUG) tests are two common tools to measure functionality of old people. Since there is reaction time using stopwatch and potential human error for judging positions, accuracy could be enhanced by a robust measurement.
