This app can be used to verify the DNS server that is used by your Android device.
For example an incorrect or inappropriate configuration of VPN software may leave your DNS configuration unchanged. This means that the majority of your traffic goes through the VPN service but the DNS requests, which for example identify the sites you visit, are still routed through the ISP.
