  I love this series but we've been waiting a decade for part 3. That's just too long. It was also very short, very linear and with little immersion, compared to pt1. Classes have no effect on your abilities, inexplicably. A fault shared with pt1. University life should have been fleshed out more, rather than merely foisting new 'friends', that we have no real connection to, onto us. Very little time passes and nothing much happens. Sem is now the main character, rather than the PC.

  Fun concept (paths) and one of the better CYOA series around (albeit unfinished) but it feels like the writer has long since abandoned this project for other ventures and it will leave you feeling unfulfilled. Only get it if you love fantasy and don't mind reading/watching only the first two books/films of a trilogy.

  great story ... I love the different magic paths but in reality at this point I wouldnt bother wasting your money purchasing this series... It's been 7 years now that we have been waiting for the third one so at this point I highly doubt it's coming and I think it's kind of messed up that we haven't even been told anything about it
