Description of The Quest - Basilisk's Eye

An expansion by Zarista Games.
The Quest - Basilisk's Eye is an expansion to The Quest, a beautifully hand-drawn open world role playing game with old school grid-based movement and turn based combat.
After enabling the expansion, you can explore new areas and adventures. However, if you don't have The Quest, you can also play the expansion as a standalone game.
The Angamanain Empire was always a strange world full of beauty, unimaginable beasts and mysteries and that was before the Basilisk arrived, determined to bring death and destruction to this ancient civilization. Hero, you are badly needed. The Basilisk terrorizes the land. One look from him can kill. He sends out his clones to do his dirty work and they are virtually indestructible.
To access the new areas (not applicable if you are playing the expansion standalone), go to Mithria harbor and talk to captain Hanty, then select "Basilisk's Eye" as your travel destination. It's recommended you reach at least level 75 before taking on the challenges posed by this expansion.

What's New with The Quest - Basilisk's Eye 13.0.6

- The Breezy Sword can now be purchased from Hamid the Smith.

Getting all the expansions with all its free stuff will definitely make your questing easier. Enchanting (environmental magic + fortify magic) is all-powerful if you want to go this way. And as I found out on this sytem (chromebook) before, you have to reboot the system every time you want to install one expansion.

They used to call me KEYSMASTER. This game is amazing! Much love to the creators! One wish I have is for these games to be mass adopted by the public! They are simply incredible! Words don't do them justice! Thanks again!

It's okay. I have a few problems with it visually. The 3D models used for some enemies/NPCs don't blend with the rest of the hand drawn sprites and it's jarring. On top of that, the two frames of idle animation are different enough that it's distracting (e.g toads). It's not a crime against nature but this is the only expansion where I've had to take a break because it gives me eye pain in some cases, or vertigo on the extreme end. Still gonna play the hell out of it. Cheers Zarista!

I don't know of any other RPG that has 12 expansions and counting the main proper game that are both engaging and leaving you looking forward to the next expansions that are in development. The expansions author is very active and quick to respond to any and all questions related to the expansions. Something I hardly ever see with other devs. This a series one should not pass up you are an RPG fan!
