The game is very good. Controls are perfect. Graphics are fine and provide a distinctive atmosphere that suits the game very well. Discard the negative reviews posted here. The game is challenging. Go for it while it's on (periodic) sale!

Black screen after developer logo Edit May 27th: the game isn't worth it at 50% off since the developers seem to be willfully ignoring the fact that this game doesn't work on new Android versions. Buy it and get the dev logo then a black screen. Edit: Sept 2020 patch still does not fix this.

This is similar to Gish, which is lovely. But I just couldn't make myself like it. First, it's way too dark. You're a black blob moving over black objects with dark shadows in the background. A few objects or lines are brightly lit, which makes it even harder to distinguish different black objects. This really strains the eyes. It also makes it very hard to judge what is a walkable object and what is a background object, when everything is dark. Definitely not a fan of the color palette. Second and more importantly, the controls are extremely imprecise. I'm not talking about the inertia that you character is supposed to have, the controls simply don't react properly half the time. The blob doesn't follow your swipe directions (on vertical surfaces you still need to swipe left/right instead of the real direction, which is confusing but not what I mean, even left-right swipes are often ignored), crouching works on the 10th attempt, jump doesn't jump half the time. The blob starts running too quickly, so slow careful movements are impossible. On some surfaces you hold still even when completely vertical, on some surfaces you slide even when just slightly tilted, but you can't tell them apart. The physics is completely bonkers and seems to react the very opposite way you'd expect, e.g. levers ignoring your body weight or acting like you're full of helium. I got stuck in Scheme level (about half the game) which I couldn't completely in like 20 attempts, because of the controls and the physics. It's a shame, I was in a very positive mood in the first few levels. Currently I'd give the game 50% for reminding me of Gish.
