Description of Beserkers Lite

Beserkers Lite is a turn-based 4X space strategy game. Each game is unique; never play the same game twice! Choose your starting technology level, from 0 to 25, and number of planets, from 20 to 80, required for victory. The lower the starting technology level the harder the game, and choosing more planets for victory will lengthen the game.
You will begin your quest for galactic domination with a single planet. Based on the starting technology level, you will begin the game with no fleet or defenses (technology level 0), up to a small fleet and planetary defenses (technology level 25). But beware, the Beserkers will start the game with the same technology as you!
The Beserkers are a robotic based race determined to eliminate the humanoid race you play in the game. Beserkers can convert humanoids (Population) into Robots and also have the special ability to sense other robotic technology on planets and attempt to convert Robots to Beserkers.
Explore - Use the scanning ability of Scouts to quickly explore the galaxy. Find the best planets to colonize and write notes within the game to help you remember. Search the galaxy for the Beserkers and watch for signs of their activity.
Expand - Build Freighters to transport colonists (Population) to colonize unowned planets. Factories must also be transported so new planets can begin to produce Planetary Improvements and technology to continue your expansion.
Exploit - Use the wealth of Resources on your home planet as well as planets you colonize to build a vibrant economic empire that encompasses the galaxy. Gain new technology by converting Production Credits into Technology Levels. Further exploit your planets by Terraforming and using Core Tap technology to gain more Resources.
Exterminate - Build a massive fleet of Cruisers and Battleships to attack and crush the evil Beserkers horde. The Beserekers are doing the same, so don’t leave yourself defenseless!
