Description of The Daily Blackmail

Something is rotten in City Hall—can you uncover it and...win a Pulitzer? When the mayor unexpectedly resigns, it's up to you, the rookie reporter on the City Desk to find out the real story and get it into print. Right away you smell a rat. As you track down sources and information, your reporter's instincts, brains, heart, or impeccable writing will lead you to the truth.

I don't mind that the game was short, but it seems like there was little to no effort put into the story. A lot of the choices make no sense, especially when I'm suddenly making choices for a different character other than myself. Not to mention the fact that the story just ends abruptly. Definitely glad it was free, because I'd be really upset if I had wasted money on this.

Way too short, choices don't make sense, many typos, and a nonsensical plot. Don't waste your time on this one. Try Choice of Robots instead.

Started out promising, but the storyline was abruptly truncated. For example, it's hinted that you can romance the Mayor, but that was never fleshed out.

It was alright for a free title. Certainly not as bad as I read around here. The ending was anticlimactic though, I got no closure from the one last page.
