CSS VenturePro is designed for both hiking enthusiasts as well as those that enjoy outdoor cardio-workouts.. CSS VenturePro integrates a configurable pedometer and GPS tracking app into a single product that will run on any phone or tablet that incorporates built-in accelerometers and GPS radios.
For non-registered users, you will be able to see a summary of your current hike, including total number of steps, distance and current GPS location in a decimal format. And you will be able to review your hike/workout on a Google map.
For registered users, you will be able to store and review your last 10 hikes/works both from your Android device as well as from a web-browser. That said, registered users can share their current hiking/workout in real-time with friends and family. This can be very important for those that tend to hike/workout alone.
It is also import to know that VenturePro IS NOT a spyware or hidden tracker application. The VenturePro application must stay visible on your device in order for it to record GPS information. This means that if you get a phone call, VenturePro stops tracking. If you put the device to sleep, VenturePro quicks tracking. Even if you bring any other application into focus (like to play a game). VenturePro quits tracking. So basically, if the device user/owner can't see the VenturePro screen, there is no active tracking or logging occurring.
