The present study is also centered on assessing the biodiversity and ecological role of a small creature; spider, which is found in the grape fields of Cumbum Valley. Spiders are one among the species which belong to phylum, Arthropod; class, Arachinida; order, Araneae and it forms the principal pact of animal living matter on land (Vladimir I.Vernadsky, 1998) The study of diversification and distribution pattern of spiders is recognized as an important need for ecological maintenance, because ,spiders have a greater role in ecological maintenance in various ecosystems including, forest, agriculture and other terrestrial ecosystems, which are in abandoned condition.
