Solar Panels can be installed on rooftops of institutes and homes to meet daily electricity
requirements. In order to maximize the solar power yield, it is very important that the panels are
installed in correct direction, angle and location within the given periphery.
This App has been uniquely designed to help users to identify best location for solar panel installation.
Important features of the App are as under:
* It identifies Longitude and Latitude of the location
* It identifies the current direction and angle of the mobile screen
* It compares the current direction and angle with the most optimum direction and angle for solar
panel installation. As soon as the current direction matches with optimum direction (+/- 5 degree)
and optimum angle (+/- 2 degree), the readings turn green.
* User can measure the light intensity at the identified location. He can set the time duration ( 1
hour to 10 hours) and interval (5 minutes to 60 minutes) for which he wants to measure the light
intensity.
* App will calculate the average light intensity for the given duration (Device must have light
sensor).
* This way, user can measure light intensity at various locations within the given periphery and
identify the best location.
* App has a report section where user can see previously stored set of readings.
* GPS and mobile data/ wifi should be "ON" to run this APP.
