Hip TV is largely regarded as the number one music content channel from Nigerian to Africa and the world. The channel was founded by its Executive Producer Ayo Animashaun and was launched in July 2007 as a music programme syndicated across several terrestrial platforms in Nigeria.
Hip TV is a 24-hour channel on DSTV Channel 324 (in over 45 sub-saharan Africa countries) and GoTV Channel 74 (in Nigeria), and also streams online on www.hiptv.tv
