Provide Early Warning Service (EWS) for Lightning in the state of Karnataka.
The EWS shall observe hazardous phenomena associated with convective storm development, intensification and movement, and other necessary inputs required to generate early warnings.
The EWS is based on total lightning data that is obtained from the network of ground-based sensors and cloud computing based data services.
