INTRODUCTION TO ASSISTANT
I made this app for myself. I wanted to have free music and chat in one place.
After, I added movies and audio books from the public domain (free, no copyright).
Then I added voice commands, so I could use the app in the background.
Movies and Audio Books
Movies: there are many old movies in the public domain but not all are great. I check every movie before adding it to the app. These movies are hosted on archive.org.
Audiobooks: I found an online community of volunteers from around the world who record themselves reading the books: Librivox. Basically, you can listen to someone reading you a book. It's very nice. These recordings are also hosted on archive.org.
Why is it called Super Assistant?
It has voice commands. You can tell it to
play music
or
play a movie
or
play a story
. It works in the background. Requires microphone permission.
There are two sections in this app:
MEDIA
and
CHAT
.
When you open the app, you will be in the Media section (Music, Movies and Audiobooks).
From there you can access the Chat section (Assistant and People) by tapping on the Chat bubble icon on the bottom left.
