Winky D has become the new icon for Zimbabwean and African urban/reggae music with nicknames like "King of Dancehall","Gombwe" "Gafa(Gaffer", Extraterrestrial "The BigMan", "Messi wereggae", and "Truthsayer" being attached to him in the ghettos.
