The Small Animal Coma Scale is a tool designed to aid veterinary clinicians in the diagnosis of head trauma severity in the clinic.
It was created by Andy Shores, DVM, MS, PhD (Mississippi State University, College of Veterinary Medicine) Simon Platt BVM&S, MRCVS, DACVIM (Neurology), DECVN (University of Georgia, College of Veterinary Medicine), and Kyle Johnsen (University of Georgia, College of Engineering).
