My Fuel Check is an app designed to show users the price of fuel from the fuel stations in the area around them. This information is conveniently displayed on a map and when a specific station is selected directions from the users location.
Users are able to submit updates to the prices and by doing so receive a temporary account upgrade with the main benefits being advertisement free (ad free). This is done by taking a close up picture of the main price board and then the App uses OCR (optical character recognition) to acquire the price of the fuel.
