How it works...
Speech Analyzer
Ask potential spirits near you a question. A random text string will be provided and sent through text to speech as a response. The theory behind this is that a paranormal entity could alter the text string to form words. Two random numbers are measured to determine how much deviation is between them, indicating if a paranormal entity is attempting to manipulate the data.
Accelerometer
Measures gravitational field changes on all three axis, plus total acceleration, in meters per second. 9.8 meters per second is subtracted from the total to account for gravity.
Magnetic Field
Measures magnetic field changes. Depending on sensitivity setting, this could be affected by simply rotating the phone towards a magnetic pole.
