Ragdoll physics is applied to 2d characters to bounce them around a virtual world which causes no harm and provides a cathartic experience which is impossible to replicate in the real world.
Pick from a variety of characters to toss representing for example stereotypical bosses.
Dodge projectiles thrown from opposing characters.
