This application allows you to translate a text message into Morse code through the flash on your phone. The adjustable speed allows for those at various skill levels of interpreting Morse code to be able to understand the messages being transmitted. The adjustable speed is based on the International standard for Morse code which works as follows:
-A dot is 1 unit, so in the case of this app, you set the Dot Time.
-A dash is 3 units
-Parts of a letter have a 1 unit pause
-Between two letters in a word is a 3 unit pause
-A space is a 7 unit pause
When the Morse code is played, dashes and dots are represented through periods where the light is turned off and pauses are periods where the light is on.
As of version 1.02, the characters A-Z and 0-9 are supported. Letters are not case sensitive.
