Hello there! I study in an IB school. I have developed this application for my Digital Design class as a part of my ‘E-Portfolio’ for MYP 5 (10th grade).
Since our Global Context for 2015-16 was Personal and Cultural Expression, we were told to use our knowledge of Digital Design to create a product that helps preserve and appreciate aspects of our own heritage.
Food plays an important role in all our lives and the food we eat depends on the places we come from. India has such a diverse culture and each state’s food reflects its vast history and the influence of different civilizations. For this reason, I created this application, and segregated different recipes based on the region in India it belongs to.
To make this interactive application even more unique and useful, I programmed it to display a recipe based on 2 of the ingredients the user selected.
