simpleON uses your device's light sensor to automatically turn on the screen when it's cover is opened.
Auto-Off has also now been added due to popular request.
Upgrade to the full version to unlock:
- No Ads.
- Option to also unlock the screen when it automatically comes on
- Battery saving sleep timer that can be programmed to disable the utility at specific times
This utility does not currently support the Kindle Fire, as the light sensor hardware is not enabled for that device.
Please note that this utility will increase battery use, as it requires low level monitoring of the light sensor at all times.
Explanation for the required permissions:
WAKE_LOCK : Required to wake the device from sleep
DISABLE_KEYGUARD : Required to optionally unlock the device
RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED : Required to automatically start the utility on boot.
CHECK_LICENSE : Required for license verification in the Android market.
INTERNET : Needed for ads
ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE : Needed for ads
