Are using the new Google Calendar from the play Store and love the new icon but are fed up with the icon just showing quot;31quot; regardless of the date?If you install this widget and add it to your home screen it mimics the Calendar icon and shows the new icon that you love but with the actual date on the calendar.If you click the icon it launches the new Google Calendar app You must have the new calendar app installed or nothing happens.CAVEATSDue to the fickle nature of widgets and home screens we can39;t be certain it works on all devices but we have tested on quite a few. HTC Sense seems to be an issue.The icon on the Nexus 7 is as close as we can get it, we can39;t make it any higher unfortunately.NOTE: This app is a widget, it will not appear in your app drawer.
