Gauges / Meters-
There are 3 colored gauges that appears on top of player-
Green Gauge- Health
Purple Gauge- Energy
Yellow / Blue Gauge- Ki Blast
Controls
Y- Sparking (Refills the Ki Blast gauge, however, it consumes the energy gauge.)
X-Power Balls (Consumes some Ki Blast gauge.)
A- Fighting (Just hold the button to keep fighting.)
B- Technique (Needs full yellow line or Ki Blast.)
T- Ultimate Move (Needs full blue line or Ki Blast.)
E-Fusion (Once the transformation gauge is full, you can become Super Saiyan 5 Gogeta for a limited amount of time.) Fight with enemies to hold fusion for longer duration.)

There are 30 playable characters in most versions of the game and 135. All characters featured in the previous game are available in this game as well. Battles can now involve one at a time on the battlefield, with one teammate coming
in the aftermath of the other has been knocked out or when the player wishes to switch to another fighter.
